Rat Aconitase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Aconitase 1 (ACO1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate onto which an immobilised antibody captures ACO1 from standards and test samples; bound analyte is then detected using a biotinylated anti-ACO1 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow after addition of the acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a standard range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.116 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values are 91% in serum (n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5), with dilution linearity data provided across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions for each matrix. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit is suitable for tissue homogenate applications.
