Rat A Disintegrin And Metalloproteinase With Thrombospondin 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit has been developed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat ADAMTS1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, with reactivity for rat samples. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for ADAMTS1, followed by a biotinylated anti-ADAMTS1 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to produce a colour change that is read as O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated against the standard curve.

The assay has a measuring range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <30.5 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery was validated in three sample matrices: serum (n=5, range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-101%, average 91%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%, average 84%). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was also assessed for serum (87-91% to 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105% to 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95% to 89-91%).
