Rat 4-HNE ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, the Rat 4-Hydroxynonenal ELISA Kit is a competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat 4-Hydroxynonenal in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 2-hour (120 minute) assay uses a pre-coated microplate and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with target levels inversely proportional to the absorbance value and calculated against a standard curve.

Quantitative performance covers a standard range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of <18.75 pg/mL. The antibody is reported as specific for 4-Hydroxynonenal with no cross-reactivity against other analogs or variants. Reported average recovery values are 94% for serum, 92% for EDTA plasma, and 97% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 across the same matrices.
