Rat 3-Hydroxy-3-Methylglutaryl Coenzyme A Reductase ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com ELISA kit enables quantitative in vitro measurement of rat HMGCR (3-Hydroxy-3-Methylglutaryl Coenzyme A Reductase) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. It uses a sandwich ELISA format on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-HMGCR detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate that produces a colour change read at 450 nm on a microplate reader. The total assay time is 4h 30m.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.134 ng/ml, and is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates.

Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated on the individual component labels, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
