Rat 2',5'-Oligoadenylate Synthetase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat OAS1 (2',5'-Oligoadenylate Synthetase 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for OAS1 is pre-coated onto a microplate; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-OAS1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, stopped with acidic solution, and the colour change is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Stated performance figures include an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.25 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
