The kit uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-VEGFA detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal generated by TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Concentration is calculated by interpolation against a standard curve. The stated assay sensitivity is <5.9 pg/ml, the working range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.
