Rabbit Tumor Necrosis Factor Beta ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Tumor Necrosis Factor Beta (LTA) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips); standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-LTA detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colourmetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <6.1 pg/ml and the quantitative range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery data supplied with the kit give an average recovery of 91% in serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported for the same sample types. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated, and the product should not be used past its stated expiry date.
