Rabbit Tissue Inhibitors Of Metalloproteinase 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Tissue Inhibitors of Metalloproteinase 4 (TIMP4) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated microplate with an immobilised capture antibody, a biotinylated anti-TIMP4 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported sensitivity is <36 pg/ml and the standard curve covers an assay range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Mean recoveries are 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%), with linearity data across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions.
