Rabbit Tissue Factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Tissue Factor in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for Tissue Factor. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, allowing Tissue Factor to bind the immobilised antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Tissue Factor Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate solution is then added to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Tissue Factor captured in each well, with the concentration calculated by reading O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

Reported performance figures include a product range of 62.5-4000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 23.1 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, with colourimetric detection. Spiking recovery data are reported for serum (n=5, range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-99%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%, average 84%), with dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions across the same sample types. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
