Rabbit S100 Calcium Binding Protein B ELISA Kit

Available from Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit S100 beta in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated anti-S100 beta detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The manufacturer reports a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <4.5 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, detection is colorimetric, and components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Reported average recovery (n=5) was 91% in serum (range 83-100%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 91-102%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89-102%). Dilution linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions are provided for each matrix.
