Rabbit Myoglobin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Myoglobin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Myoglobin, a biotinylated anti-Myoglobin detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with the enzymatic reaction visualised using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a working range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 28 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery averages 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity data are also provided across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. The product uses a pre-coated microplate platform with colorimetric detection and is intended for sandwich ELISA applications with rabbit samples.
