Rabbit Matrix Metalloproteinase 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Matrix Metalloproteinase 3 (MMP3) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and follows a standard sandwich immunoassay workflow: standards and samples are added to the wells, MMP3 is captured by the immobilised antibody, a Biotinylated Anti-MMP3 Antibody is then added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader with concentration calculated from the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.061 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been validated for serum (n=5, range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%–89%, average 84%). Linearity data are provided across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each of these sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
