Rabbit Matrix Metalloproteinase 13 ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Matrix Metalloproteinase 13 (MMP13) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a Biotinylated Anti-MMP13 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with the enzymatic reaction visualised by TMB substrate and quantitated by absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Across a reported assay range of 3.12–200 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <1.29 ng/ml, the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been evaluated in spiked samples: serum (n=5) 83%–100% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 90%–103% (average 96%) and heparin plasma (n=5) 89%–102% (average 95%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported for serum (83–110%, 79–100%, 90–98%, 82–108%), EDTA plasma (90–98%, 90–105%, 73–109%, 87–91%) and heparin plasma (88–103%, 77–105%, 95–98%, 87–110%).

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
