Rabbit Interleukin 4 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Interleukin 4 (IL-4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate, using a biotinylated anti-IL-4 detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the measuring range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml and the sensitivity is 5.1 pg/ml. The full protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spike-and-recovery averages are 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%), each based on n=5. Dilution linearity is maintained from 1:2 through 1:16 across the same sample types, with values falling between 74% and 108%.
