Rabbit Interleukin 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com comes a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit IL-2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing an immobilised antibody specific for IL-2. Captured analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-IL-2 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve covers a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml, with a reported sensitivity of <5.7 pg/ml, and the full assay is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery performance has been demonstrated in serum (n=5, 80-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, 81-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, 80-89%, average 84%), with dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions reported for each matrix. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the reagents should not be used past their stated expiration date.
