Rabbit Interferon Gamma ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rabbit Interferon Gamma ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Interferon gamma in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

An antibody specific for Interferon gamma is pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added; bound Interferon gamma is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Interferon gamma Antibody, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow after the addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 5.7 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported recovery ranges are 80%-102% (serum, n=5, average 91%), 81%-100% (EDTA plasma, n=5, average 90%), and 80%-89% (heparin plasma, n=5, average 84%). Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is reported for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%). Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A (120 μl) and Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml), and plate sealers.
