Rabbit Connective Tissue Growth Factor ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate onto which standards and samples are added; CTGF is captured by the immobilised antibody, then detected with a biotinylated anti-CTGF antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, with visualisation by TMB substrate read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative range is 46.8–3000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <18.54 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In validation, recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
