Rabbit Collagen Type I Alpha 2 ELISA Kit

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs a biotinylated anti-COL1A2 detection antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate; signal is generated using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 0.312-20 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of 0.104 ng/ml, and total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Dilution linearity evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 returned ranges of 70-107%, 89-93%, 86-104% and 80-103% for serum; 95-100%, 85-110%, 81-99% and 90-102% for EDTA plasma; and 77-104%, 88-95%, 94-104% and 80-107% for heparin plasma.
