Rabbit Cholesteryl Ester Transfer Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Cholesteryl Ester Transfer Protein (CETP) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, where CETP in standards and samples is captured by an immobilised antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-CETP antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product proportional to CETP concentration that is read at 450 nm on a colourimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of 42.61 pg/ml and a quantitative range of 93.8-6000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery has been validated across sample types: in serum (n=5), average recovery was 91% across an 80-102% range; in EDTA plasma (n=5), average recovery was 90% across 81-100%; in heparin plasma (n=5), average recovery was 84% across 80-89%. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past the indicated expiration date. The product is intended for research applications in quantifying rabbit CETP in serum and plasma samples.
