Rabbit Cholecystokinin A Receptor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Cholecystokinin A Receptor (CCK1-R) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with CCK1-R-specific antibody, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-CCK1-R antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the intensity of the yellow product proportional to the amount of CCK1-R captured in each well.

Reported sensitivity is <0.61 ng/ml across an assay range of 1.56-100 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery validation (n=5) gave average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions (n=5) showed recovery ranges of 74-107% for serum, 79-108% for EDTA plasma, and 82-105% for heparin plasma.
