Rabbit Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rabbit Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme (ACE) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs a biotinylated anti-ACE antibody with HRP-avidin detection, visualised using TMB substrate solution and read at 450nm.

The reported assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.108 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery has been characterised in serum (range 80-102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80-89%, average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%). Components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), detection solutions A and B (120μl each), 30X wash buffer (20ml), sample dilution buffer (45ml), TMB substrate (9ml), stop solution (6ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers.
