Porcine VWF ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Von Willebrand Factor in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 4-hour assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to wells where Von Willebrand Factor binds to the immobilized capture antibody; after washing, a biotinylated detection antibody binds the captured antigen to form an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich complex. HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate are then added, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated from the standard curve.

The stated product range is 1.563–100 ng/mL and sensitivity is <0.938 ng/mL. The kit is specific for Von Willebrand Factor with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.
