Porcine Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine VEGF Receptor 2 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for VEGF Receptor 2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips); standards and samples are added, followed by biotinylated anti-VEGF Receptor 2 antibody and HRP-avidin, with detection via TMB substrate producing a yellow colour proportional to target concentration that is read at 450 nm.

The kit has a sensitivity of <0.62 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 1.56-100 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values are 80%-102% (average 91%) in serum (n=5), 81%-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80%-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is 87-91% / 87-107% / 74-101% / 92-97% for serum, 90-105% / 84-101% / 90-101% / 79-108% for EDTA plasma, and 84-95% / 92-105% / 82-105% / 89-91% for heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 μl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml), and 5 adhesive plate sealers.
