Porcine Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine VEGF Receptor 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. An antibody specific for VEGF Receptor 1 captures the analyte, which is then detected using a biotinylated anti-VEGF Receptor 1 antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported sensitivity is <0.115 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing gave averages of 91% (range 80-102%) in serum (n=5), 90% (range 81-100%) in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 84% (range 80-89%) in heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is reported for serum (1:2 87-91%, 1:4 87-107%, 1:8 74-101%, 1:16 92-97%), EDTA plasma (1:2 90-105%, 1:4 84-101%, 1:8 90-101%, 1:16 79-108%) and heparin plasma (1:2 84-95%, 1:4 92-105%, 1:8 82-105%, 1:16 89-91%).
