Porcine Transforming Growth Factor Beta 3 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Transforming Growth Factor Beta 3 (TGF beta 3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for TGF beta 3 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, with captured analyte detected using a biotinylated anti-TGF beta 3 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is generated with TMB substrate and read at 450nm on a colourimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Quantitative performance is reported with a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 5.6 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80%-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity is provided at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.

Components supplied with the kit include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at either +4°C or -20°C as indicated for individual components.
