From Antibodies.com, this Porcine TIMP3 ELISA Kit is a 4-hour sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine TIMP3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric at 450 nm on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), and the kit is shipped at +4°C with components stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol manual.

The working range is 0.625–40 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL. The capture and detection antibodies are reported as specific for TIMP3, with no cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

Spike-and-recovery performance (n=10) averages 92% for serum (range 87–98%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 87–102%) and 96% for heparin plasma (range 86–104%). Dilution linearity is reported at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for the same sample types.
