Porcine Thrombomodulin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Thrombomodulin in plasma. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, following a TMB substrate and acidic stop solution detection step. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The reported assay range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.29 ng/ml. Per-sample-type range and average values (n=5) are 82–102% (average 92%) for serum, 90–100% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma and 88–100% (average 94%) for heparin plasma. At dilution factors 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5), values are reported as 86–110%, 77–102%, 90–96% and 84–108% for serum; 88–100%, 90–103%, 76–110% and 86–93% for EDTA plasma; and 89–102%, 75–106%, 94–97% and 88–110% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
