Porcine Selectin, Endothelium ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Selectin, Endothelium (CD62E) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-CD62E antibody with HRP-avidin detection, visualised with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a stated product range of 0.625-40 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.237 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery in serum averages 91% (range 80%-102% across n=5), in EDTA plasma 90% (range 81%-100%), and in heparin plasma 84% (range 80%-89%). Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
