Porcine Protein C Receptor, Endothelial ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Porcine EPCR/CD201 ELISA Kit (also referred to as Protein C Receptor, Endothelial) is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine EPCR/CD201 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. Reactivity is porcine and the assay is read on a colorimetric microplate reader. An antibody specific for EPCR/CD201 is pre-coated onto the microplate, and the kit uses a Biotinylated Anti-EPCR/CD201 Antibody together with an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the enzymatic reaction; the colour changes from blue to yellow on addition of acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm against a standard curve.

Reported performance figures supplied with the kit include a sensitivity of <3.75 ng/ml, a product range of 15.6–1000 ng/ml, and an assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Recovery (average) values listed are 95% for serum (range 88–102%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 90–99%) and 96% for heparin plasma (range 90–102%), with corresponding linearity ranges reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for the same sample types.
