Porcine Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit B ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the quantitative in vitro measurement of porcine Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit B (PDGF B) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format and employs a biotinylated anti-PDGF B detection antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed using TMB substrate, stopped with an acidic solution, and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

According to the manufacturer, the assay covers a working range of 46.8–3000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <13.45 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%) across n=5 samples per matrix. Dilution linearity has been demonstrated in the same three matrices at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, with serum ranging 74–107%, EDTA plasma 79–108% and heparin plasma 82–105%, supporting reliable quantification across common biofluid types.
