From Antibodies.com, this Porcine Tissue Plasminogen Activator ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich ELISA intended for the in vitro measurement of porcine Tissue Plasminogen Activator in plasma or other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips; an antibody specific for the target captures analyte from standards and samples, a biotinylated anti-Tissue Plasminogen Activator antibody then binds the captured analyte, and HRP-Avidin with TMB substrate produces a yellow colour read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.32 ng/ml and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (average 92%, range 82–102%), EDTA plasma (average 97%, range 91–103%) and heparin plasma (average 93%, range 86–101%). Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 has also been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
