Porcine Phospholipase A2, Pancreas ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine phospholipase A2, pancreas (p-PLA2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.059 ng/ml with a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes and reactivity is limited to porcine samples. Average recovery across the tested range was 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5 per sample type), while dilutional linearity at 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions ranged from 74% to 108%.
