Porcine PGE2 ELISA Kit

A competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Prostaglandin E2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate format with colorimetric detection measured at 450 nm.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a product range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of <18.75 pg/mL. It is specific for Prostaglandin E2 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. The total assay time is 2 hours (120 minutes).

Validated sample recovery (n=10) spans 88–105% for serum (average 96%), 86–100% for EDTA plasma (average 95%), and 87–97% for heparin plasma (average 91%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 was demonstrated across the same sample types. Kit components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol manual; the kit should not be used past its expiration date and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
