Porcine NT-ProANP ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Porcine NT-ProANP ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine NT-ProANP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for NT-ProANP, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-NT-ProANP Detection Antibody and an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a colour change proportional to NT-ProANP concentration, which is quantified by reading absorbance at 450 nm against a standard curve.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/ml. The unopened kit should be stored at +4°C and is intended for research use only — not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Materials required but not supplied include a microplate reader capable of measuring absorbance at 450 nm ± 10 nm, single- and multi-channel pipettes with sterile tips, a 37°C incubator, deionized or distilled water, and software or graph paper capable of generating logarithmic standard curves.
