Porcine Nitric Oxide Synthase 3, Endothelial ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS). The kit is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids, and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The assay is built around a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is completed in approximately 4h 30m. Standards and samples are added to the wells where eNOS is captured by the immobilized antibody, followed by a biotinylated anti-eNOS antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate yields a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to eNOS concentration. Reported sensitivity is <5.4 pg/ml with a working range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml.

Spike-and-recovery in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each) averaged 84-91% across the sample types evaluated, with dilution linearity demonstrated from 1:2 through 1:16. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the assay should not be used past the stated expiration date.
