Porcine Myeloperoxidase ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Myeloperoxidase, this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a standard colorimetric microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

The quantitative sandwich immunoassay has a product range of 0.781-50 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.35 ng/ml. Capture is achieved with an immobilised anti-Myeloperoxidase antibody, and detection uses a biotinylated anti-Myeloperoxidase antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Catalysis produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and the concentration of Myeloperoxidase is calculated from the O.D. absorbance at 450nm against the standard curve. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported spike-and-recovery performance covers several matrices. Serum samples (n=5) give a range of 80%-102% with an average of 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5) gives 81%-99% with an average of 90%; and heparin plasma (n=5) gives 80%-89% with an average of 84%. Dilution linearity is also reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
