Porcine Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 1 (MCP1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips, together with a biotinylated anti-MCP1 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The quantitative range spans 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.124 ng/ml, and the full protocol is completed in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%), with dilution linearity demonstrated from 1:2 through 1:16 across the same matrices. Reagents are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and detection is colourimetric on a standard microplate reader.
