Porcine Matrix Metalloproteinase 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Matrix Metalloproteinase 2 (MMP2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-MMP2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal developed using a TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Stated sensitivity is <33 pg/ml and the assay range is 78.1–5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Manufacturer validation reports recovery in serum of 80–102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma of 81–100% (average 90%), and in heparin plasma of 80–89% (average 84%). Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed.
