Porcine Matrix Metalloproteinase 13 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the quantitative in vitro measurement of porcine Matrix Metalloproteinase 13 (MMP13) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate with an anti-MMP13 capture antibody; bound MMP13 is detected using a biotinylated anti-MMP13 antibody, HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, producing a colourmetric end-point read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Stated performance figures include a product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.113 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4h 30m. Reported spike-recovery ranges are 80%–102% for serum (n=5), 81%–100% for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 80%–89% for heparin plasma (n=5), with dilution-linearity data given at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
