Porcine Lactoferrin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Lactoferrin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Detection relies on a biotinylated anti-Lactoferrin antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as less than 13.2 pg/ml, with an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml. The total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported recovery ranges were 80%–102% in serum (n=5, average 91%), 81%–99% in EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%), and 80%–89% in heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%). Dilution linearity was evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
