Porcine Interleukin 4 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Porcine Interleukin 4 (IL-4) ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro determination of porcine IL-4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) in which IL-4 in standards and samples is captured by an immobilized antibody, followed by binding with a biotinylated anti-IL-4 antibody and detection with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Readings are taken colorimetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with IL-4 concentration calculated against the standard curve. The manufacturer states a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <5.9 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are shipped and held at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual.
