Porcine Interleukin 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine IL-2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The pre-coated plate is incubated with standards and samples, after which bound IL-2 is detected using a biotinylated anti-IL-2 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a colour change read at 450 nm on a microplate reader, with IL-2 concentration calculated against a standard curve. The working range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <5.9 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery has been demonstrated in serum (80-102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81-99%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (80-89%, average 84%, n=5), with linearity shown across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in each matrix. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
