Porcine Interleukin 17 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine IL-17A. It is reactive with porcine samples and validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8-well strips) and the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with a biotinylated anti-IL-17A detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate generates a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The stated product range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 12.5 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min.

Spike-and-recovery was assessed across n=5 replicates per matrix: serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated in serum (74%–107%), EDTA plasma (79%–108%) and heparin plasma (82%–105%). Supplied components include a lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored between +4 °C and −20 °C as detailed in the product insert.
