Porcine Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 4 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 4 (IGFBP4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Captured IGFBP4 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-IGFBP4 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal generated by TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The concentration of IGFBP4 in each sample is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The assay has a working range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.098 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported mean recoveries from spiked samples are 91% for serum (range 83-99%), 89% for EDTA plasma (range 80-99%) and 90% for heparin plasma (range 82-99%), based on n=5 per matrix. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
