Porcine Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 2 (IGFBP2) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The reported assay range is 0.468-30 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.18 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. The manufacturer advises not using the kit past its expiration date.

Recovery in serum has been demonstrated at 80%-102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma at 81%-100% (average 90%), and in heparin plasma at 80%-89% (average 84%). Linearity of dilution has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5).
