Porcine Insulin Like Growth Factor 1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Insulin Like Growth Factor 1 (IGF1), this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for use with serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and a colourmetric detection method read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.146 ng/ml, with a standard curve range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery has been characterised across sample types: serum recoveries range from 80%-102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma from 81%-100% (average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma from 80%-89% (average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity was also evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same matrices, with reported ranges of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma (n=5 each).

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
