Porcine Insulin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Insulin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-insulin antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate for signal generation, developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm. The reported product range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <29.8 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

For serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5), reported range and average values are 80%-102% (91%), 81%-99% (90%) and 80%-89% (84%), respectively. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5) was: serum 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; EDTA plasma 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; heparin plasma 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%.
