Porcine IGFBP-3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine IGFBP3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. Specific for IGFBP3 with no reported cross-reactivity against other analogs or variants, the assay produces quantitative results in 4 hours.

With a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL, the assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 × 8 well strips and a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with the included Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing; validated dilutions for healthy serum and healthy plasma range from 1:200 to 1:500. Recovery validation across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples yielded averages generally between 92% and 97%, with individual ranges of 86%–104%.

The kit is shipped at +4°C, and individual components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol manual. Components should not be used past the expiration date and should be protected from repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Included items are a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, sample dilution buffer, biotinylated detection antibody, antibody dilution buffer, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealers, and a foil pouch.
