Porcine Haptoglobin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative measurement of porcine Haptoglobin in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and follows a biotinylated antibody / HRP-avidin workflow with TMB substrate read at 450 nm.

Reported performance includes a product range of 78.1-5000 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <25.5 ng/ml. Detection is colourmetric on a standard microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery in serum (n=5) ranges from 80% to 102% (average 91%); EDTA plasma (n=5) from 81% to 99% (average 90%); and heparin plasma (n=5) from 80% to 89% (average 84%).

Kit components include the pre-coated plate, lyophilized standard supplied as 2 vials, Detection Solution A and Detection Solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers.
