Porcine Growth Hormone ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of porcine Growth Hormone in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate platform arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colourimetric microplate reader, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. Sensitivity is reported as <0.054 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the complete protocol runs in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Standards and samples are captured by a Growth Hormone-specific antibody immobilised on the plate, then detected with a biotinylated anti-Growth Hormone antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, and visualised using TMB substrate that changes from blue to yellow on addition of acidic stop solution; the intensity of the yellow colour is directly proportional to the amount of Growth Hormone captured. Kit components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
